General Clan-cat Description
Ivyclan is the first clan introduced, while it has withstood the sands of time, it is notorious for its turbulent history. It has good and bad times ebb and flow, many cats worn but able to pull through due to the strong community and will of the clan. Ivyclan is the largest of the clans, reflected in the power the clan holds politically, but their leadership's quality is frequently up to debate.
Cats of Ivyclan are diverse, since most cats were initially outsiders. However, the clan largely has earthy colors such as browns, reds, and silvers. Cats that hail from the Red bloodline are known for their pointed and striped fur.
About
Ivyclan territory is within an expansive cave system. While it may sound claustrophobic, it's instead full of dense foliage, bogs, and riverways. Ivyclan territory is a swamp taken underground. It's comfortable with an almost dreamlike atmosphere, especially for those who enjoy swimming as much as Ivyclan cats do. Prey consists primarily of frogs and many species of fish, with occasional treats of muskrats and river voles.
Ivyclan cats are social, brave, and undoubtedly loyal. When you become Ivyclan, you become community. This group has been through a lot of challenges and vulnerable moments, but one thing is always certain; Ivyclan ALWAYS pulls through.
However, Ivyclan cats are known on the outside as being prideful and unwilling to accept defeat, fighting until the very end. This pride can fluctuate from cat to cat, cat to cat, but it is not unheard of for IvyClanners to be regarded as arrogant and egotistical by the other clans. The truth of the matter is that each IvyClan cat feels that their clanmates are family. With such a tight-knit group, every minor threat can be met with extraordinary amounts of aggression. Ultimately, IvyClan will put itself first before the other clans, despite the cost.
Because of their close relationships and tight bonds, Ivyclan works diligently and skillfully, together. If there were to ever be a crack in the foundation of their community, there won’t be for long.

Origin
IvyClan has always had an off-kilter leadership, with Frostrunner serving as a de-facto leader since the early moons of IvyClan. It was this power struggle between him and Buzzardcloud, the deputy, that led to Frostrunner's betrayal and his subsequent exile.
Her change for the better started following a recent death. She understood Peachkit would not return, and it is better to focus on the present. While IvyClan wil never forget the time where they nearly had no leader, they look to Redstar now as she slowly re-takes her mantle and learns to lead her clan again.
Territory
Ivyclan is most notably known for the wide, deep, and complicated underground cave systems. It is beautifully lush and all hues of green decorate the inside, and the swampy atmosphere makes for a comfortable and relaxing environment. Inside these caves run many riverways, the heart of all Ivyclan cats. Water is deeply important to these cats, and no Ivyclanner is unfamiliar with the art of swimming. Above these caves is an equally as fascinating forest that climbs up and becomes many mountains. The same river dances through them.
